Pick the voice; the record wakes the pulse

Pick GPT-Live 1, its brain and voices from the card or by asking; a stage change, a closed task or a booking now wakes a pulse read; every signal gets a shelf life.

The Voice & Model card of a Loquent voice teammate set to GPT-Live 1, with the Quartz voice, the GPT-5.6 Terra brain, Medium reasoning effort and a note that speed, noise reduction and turn detection are handled by GPT-Live
Real Loquent product: the Voice & Model card on GPT-Live 1, with the brain and effort in place of the Realtime-only controls.

Yesterday’s release put GPT-Live 1 on the line; today the Voice & Model card follows the model you pick. And the contact pulse, which only ever read messages and call transcripts, now reads the record too.

Choose how your teammate talks

  • GPT-Live 1 in the picker — marked New with a one-line description. Selecting it shows the Brain and its reasoning effort (Low by default; Low, Medium, High) and hides speed, noise reduction and turn detection, which Live does not use.
  • Live-only voices — twelve GPT-Live voices appear only while GPT-Live 1 is selected. Switch back to a Realtime model and a Live-only voice resets to the default with a dismissible notice; every Realtime setting comes back untouched.
  • Set it by asking — “switch Sofía to GPT-Live with the Quartz voice” does it in one request; an unknown voice is refused with the valid list.
  • In the guide — Put your teammate on the line gains a Choose how your teammate talks section.

The record wakes the pulse

  • Five things trigger a read — a stage change, an escalation you answered, a task closed, an intake form submitted, an appointment booked. Read now after a stage change gives a real reading instead of “Nothing new”.
  • The record reaches the model — a read carries the stage moves, submissions, bookings, done tasks and answered escalations since the last one, with today’s date in your timezone so “by Friday” resolves.
  • One read per burst — five stage writes in one sync tick are one model call, and a bulk stage update cannot fan out into hundreds of reads.

Signals with a shelf life

  • Due dates — a commitment or a timing signal names its day (due Sep 12).
  • Passed and Stale — a nightly pass marks a promise Passed seven days after its date with no word since, and marks a buying signal, objection or risk Stale after sixty quiet days. Nothing is deleted.
  • Grouped on the Insights tab — Open · Passed · Resolved · Older with counts; a passed promise keeps its risk tint; a reading the record woke is tagged Record changed.
  • Preference becomes a fact — a preference is recorded on the contact, not tracked as a signal.

Under the hood

  • One migration; the seeded pulse prompt moves to its second version, edited prompts are left alone.
